Syncing & Backup

Since the application simply uses files, there is no synchronization or backup engine in the application. You are therefore free to use the service of your choice to synchronize and back up your files.

If you use a cloud service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive, you can simply place your files in the synchronized folder of that service. The application will work normally and you’ll be able to access your files from any device connected to your cloud account.

But be careful, if you use multiple devices, it’s important to ensure that files are synchronized before opening them on another device. Otherwise, you risk encountering file conflict issues.

You are responsible for your backups. If you lose your files, the application cannot recover them. It is therefore recommended to make regular backups of your files, either manually or by using a cloud service that does it automatically. Ideally, follow the following rule for your backups:

  • 3 different media (for example, an external hard drive, a cloud service, and a USB key)
  • 2 different locations (for example, your home and a cloud provider)
